Tourist Information


 

The Pelican Rapids Area Tourist Information Center is located at 25 North Broadway in Historic City Hall. Visitors can stop and learn about Pelican Rapids and the surrounding area.
The Information Center/Chamber of Commerce Office is open:
   Tues. – Friday 1:00pm – 5:00pm
   Saturday 9:00am – 1:00pm. 
   We are closed Sunday & Monday. 
 

Winter Hours:
Visitor's Center is open Tuesday -Friday 10am - 3pm.

  

Visitors can pick up FREE maps of the 38 Pelicans that make up Pelican Pete’s Flock of Friends!  Also available is information on Pelican Rapids Area Chamber of Commerce members and community information.

Pelican Rapids is a favorite summer spot, and becoming more popular in the winter as well. Ice fishing, snowmobiling, cross country skiing are just a few of the sports enjoyed. Pelican Rapids is the Gateway to Maplewood State Park and Home of the "World's Largest Pelican". There is much to do for a weekend getaway as well for a family vacation.
