TURKEY DAYS KICK-OFF

9 am • Historic City Hall, Downtown
Head on down to the Chamber office and be a part of the
Kick-off to the Turkey Days Celebration.

All Day • Starting at Historic City Hall, Downtown
Tour & find all the “Friends of Pelican Pete”. Map & Souvenir “Friends”
Book available at the Chamber office. This is a self-guided tour.

9 am - 4 pm • Trinity Lutheran Parking Lot
Semi trailer filled with books! Cookbooks, childrens, fiction, non fiction,
biography, travel, gardening, architecture, art and many other subjects.
All arranged by subject and author. Proceeds go toward purchasing
books for Pelican Rapids Library.

Starting at 6 pm
An evening of family fun with prizes to excite the young and old alike.
Come and join us and try your luck at Bingo.

LITTLE MISS PELICAN PAGEANT
 

6 pm • Trinity Lutheran Church
Come see six, seven and eight year old girls be contestants
for Little Miss Pelican. Contestants will ride on a float in the
Turkey Days parade on Saturday.
Girls from the age of 6 to 8 as of May 1st and living within a 20 mile
radius of Pelican Rapids are encouraged to participate.

ICE CREAM SOCIAL

6-7:30 pm • Pelican Valley Health Center
Will be held on the front lawn of the Nursing Home.
Cake, Ice Cream, Lemonade & Coffee

TEEN SWIM FUN NIGHT

6-9 pm • CITY POOL
All teens 7th-12th grade come to the City Pool and
have some fun with your friends.

JAYCEE’S KARAOKE & BEER GARDEN

Starting at 9 p.m.• West Mill
Hang out with friends, sing a few songs, and have a cold one!

Join us for our annual fundraiser. Help raise money for Pelican Valley
Health Center and enjoy a great breakfast with the whole family!

Farmers from the area will have a large variety of produce for sale.

9 am - 3 pm • by City Pool
Great treasures for everyone! Vendors will be set up selling
all of those items you just can’t find anywhere else!

9 am - 1 pm • Sherin Park
Sherin Park will be filled with cars of yesteryear.
Door Prizes will be given to all participants of the car show.

9:45 am Sign Up, 10:15 am Parade - Main Street
For children 0-18, under age 7 need to be accompanied by an adult.
No specific theme - decorate your bike, skateboards, wagons, etc.
Come and have fun with us!
Starts Pelican Valley Health Center, ends at Good Sam.

11 am • Main Street
The 100+ unit parade will begin at Pelican Rapids City Hall and
continue down Highway 59 to West Mill and will end at
Trinity Lutheran Church parking lot.

11 am - 2:00 pm • E.L. Peterson Park
Delicious fresh roast turkey sandwiches served with coleslaw, chips,
beverage and cookies. A summer tradition

1:00 pm • West Mill
Watch area businesses and organizations drench each other
with fire hoses as they try to prove which team will be
crowned “Water War Champion”!

4 pm • VFW
Enjoy an afternoon of Bingo.
